New Clients
We offer the Meet & Greet as an introduction for prospective clients and their dog, and a chance to discover if your dog and our services are suitable for each other. Upon completing our Meet & Greet application requirements in advance, our Homestead Manager will give you and your dog a tour of our facilities, assess your dog, and review your dog’s intake forms to determine if your dog is a successful candidate to join us at The Homestead. While we have many different dog breeds in all ages and sizes, those that benefit most from our unique experience share these traits:

-
outgoing, playful and enjoy the company of other dogs
-
comfortable sharing space (except for during meal time)
-
stay with the pack on leash-free walks
If you think The Homestead is the place for your furry loved one, please see below. Please allow up to 2 weeks for confirmation of appointment

VACCINATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
-
Core Vaccinations | 3-year (DAPPV + Rabies)
-
Bordetella (kennel cough) | Annual Protocol
We strongly recommend these protocols due to the potential contact with wildlife on our property:
-
Leptospirosis – Annually
-
Deworming
For safety reasons, dogs over 12 months old must be spayed or neutered to attend The Homestead Nottawa.
